A New Under-Water World

At Playitas we do not just offers activities and relaxation on land – you and your family will also have the chance to discover a totally new under-water world. Whether you are an experienced diver or have never tried scuba-diving in your life, the professional scuba instructors at Playitas’ diving centre “Deep Blue” are ready to give you and your children an experience you will never forget beneath the surface of the Atlantic Ocean.

The adventure may start with a free test dive in the pool. That might incite you to try a “real” dive in the Atlantic. You can also go all out and take a PADI Open Water Diver Course that will reward you with the most popular diver certificate available.

If you already have the certificate, Deep Blue will be happy to arrange half or full day trips to one of the many exotic and inviting diving spots that the ocean around Playitas and the rest of Fuerteventura has to offer.

Remember, diving is also for children – at least those who are a bit older. Children between 8 and 9 can take a Bubblemaker Course, and for the 10-14 year-old kids we offer the PADI Junior Open Water Diver Course.

Safety is a given when diving at Playitas. All diving takes place in accordance with international safety rules. Among other things, this means that you must provide a valid diving medical certificate to be able to dive at Playitas. If you do not already have a certificate, the local doctor at Playitas can examine you and issue the certificate.
